Reducing the environmental impact of our operations is fundamental to how we work, alongside the promotion of production to raise the national economy. Our environmental policy commits OMIFCO to fully comply with environmental laws, local and international regulations while producing ammonia and urea.

We've established an environmental management system capable of monitoring air emissions, effluents, and solid waste, as well as their sources. This is reflected by our ISO 14001:2004 certification, received in September 2010, with emission and waste levels below the limits set by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs.
