OMIFCO and The Principle of Social
Responsibility
OMIFCO takes social responsibility very seriously within its
operating environment, and considers it one of its most important
commitments to the surrounding environment and the local
community, as it seeks to create continuous partnerships with
the local community to serve common goals and define social,
economic and environmental priorities in the community in line
with the company›s goals.
We have designed and implemented a community investment
strategy to ensure optimum utilization of the resources available
and to strategically direct them to implement and support
community projects and initiatives that have sustainable and
positive impact. That is part of a sustainability management
plan that integrates the management of economic, social
and environmental performance for delivering enduring value
to all stakeholders including the government, shareholders,
customers, employees, community members, partners and
suppliers.
Being a major contributor in the Ash Sharqiyah South Governorate

of the Sultanate, we realize the importance of having a positive
and prominent impact on the society in which we oeprate, as a
result of valuable participation in various important economic,
environmental, and societal initiatives.
We make significant contributions to society in a variety of ways,
including the direct and indirect employment opportunities we
provide, tax revenues we generate, dependable products we
develope and manufacture, as also through ensuring positive
interaction with local communities and be good corporate
citizen. As a major international company, we take great care
to maintain effective open dialogues and discussions with all
stakeholders.
