Results and outputs

• Six (6) trucks of 10 tons capacity were provided to the branches of the Omani Agricultural Association in the governorates of North and
South Al-Batinah, Al-Dhahirah, Al-Dakhiliya, North and South Al-Sharqiya, in two phases

• By studying the impact of the project in the first phase in 2013, the project contributed to reducing the percentage of waste in the

product and increasing its shelf life and thus its quality to the consumer

• Trucks contributed to the expansion of marketing outlets through introducing the Omani agricultural product to most of central and

local markets in the governorates and walayats as well as the transfer of exported products to Muscat International Airport
• Providing job opportunities for Omanis as drivers
